Horton is a Live painter Known for spiritually inspired work

Welcome to the gallery of paintings by Isaac Horton created live in front of an audience at events such as weddings and church services. Horton first started painting live in 2002 shortly after moving to Arizona. Horton also writes artist statements for each work that include the event’s theme, scripture verses, and Horton’s own story to illuminate elements of the image. His creative process boils down to allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through him to capture and express the essence of the moment. Horton studied art at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks where he was born and raised. Horton has lived abroad in Venezuela, and Japan. Horton also works as a professional counselor in private practice in Tempe, Arizona, where he lives with his three amazing children.
